Empower School of Health Partners with Galien Forum Africa 2024 to Tackle Health Challenges Amid Climate Crisis in Africa 

Empower School of Health is proud to partner with Galien Forum Africa 2024 held at Senegal, Dakar from 22-25 October 2024, uniting global experts, young leaders, and innovators to address health challenges under climate and environmental crises in Africa. Our Founder and Executive Director, Prof. Paul Lalvani, actively contributed at this year’s event, speaking on leadership, AI, and health actions in the face of climate impacts. He also co-chaired a session with African Union Special Envoy for the African Medicines Agency, Dr. Michel Sidibe, on access to quality medicines in response to these crises. We are inspired by the shared commitment to sustainable solutions and look forward to further collaboration in driving positive change. 

Projects Update

Empower School of Health Partners with Plan India to Launch Multilingual Online Courses for Youth Health Program on Non-Communicable Diseases 

Empower School of Health supported Plan India in developing self-paced online courses for the Youth Health Programme, a global initiative that supports and promotes the health and well-being of the youth population, primarily focused on non-communicable diseases. A total of 9 modules were developed in the English language during 2 phases of the project. 6 of these courses were translated into Hindi language and 3 courses into Tamil language. A web-based Learning Management System was developed for hosting the courses which include user dashboard and multiple user access to ensure proper learner management and analytics. 

Empower School of Health and NMCN Collaborate to Enhance Medical Education with AR/VR-Integrated Courses on Saksham LMIS Platform

Empower School of Health is partnering with the National Medical College Network (NMCN) to compile, curate, and upload medical courses for undergraduate students on the Saksham LMIS platform. This initiative not only enhances the course offerings but also focuses on strengthening the capacity of NMCN staff to create a sustainable framework for high-quality content development. Additionally, Empower is integrating advanced learning modalities utilizing AR and VR technologies to provide a more immersive and comprehensive understanding of medical topics.
