Empower School of Health facilitated two workshops with the Zambia Medical and Medical Supplies Agency

  • The Leadership workshop took place from the 16th to the 17th of April 2024 for 18 directors and senior managers at Protea Hotel, Chisamba, Zambia. The workshop was facilitated by Henri Fourcault Director of Empower's Center for Leadership Development and consisted of breakout sessions, plenary sessions, self-awareness exercises, teamwork, team building games, and review of executive documents.
  • The Technical workshop took place over the course of three days, from the 22nd to the 24th at the Hilton Garden Inn, Lusaka, Zambia. 50 participants were divided into three groups of 50, each assigned a day for training. The workshop was facilitated by Chipopa Kazuma Head of Technology Projects and Innovations, Access Bank Zambia and Alice Nyawa Liswaniso, Lecturer and Course Coordinator in Pharmaceutics, Eden University, Zambia.

Projects Update

World Bank accreditation on Learning Management System developed for GPE

Under the “Development and Implementation of GPE 2025 E-Learning course” project, Empower School of Health has developed a Learning Management System (LMS) for the Global Partnership for Education to host the 5 e-learning modules developed in 4 languages; English, French, Spanish and Arabic.

The LMS has been accredited by the World Bank’s Office of Information Security (OIS) team and is approved for launching the courses for the learners. The LMS was tested and approved for various data and security parameters and has been approved to have the standards as per the World Bank guidelines. Empower has developed and uploaded the English and French versions of e-modules on the LMS.
