A dialogue hosted by Empower School of Health on Strengthening Health & Pharmaceutical Sectors:
India-Africa Collaboration
On January 17, 2025, the Empower School of Health hosted a pivotal event at Hotel Jaypee Vasant
Continental, New Delhi, to forge stronger partnerships between India and Africa in the healthcare
and pharmaceutical sectors.
With a shared vision for Universal Healthcare for All Africans, this initiative highlighted key
areas for collaboration: Strengthening Health Systems, Accelerating Digital Health Innovations and
Expanding Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Regulatory Frameworks.
The event brought together dignitaries from various African countries like Cameroon, Ghana, Chad,
Togo, Uganda, Rwanda, and Nigeria, etc., representatives from Africa CDC, United Nations Institute
for Training and Research (UNITAR), East Central and Southern Africa College of Nursing and
Midwifery (ECSACONM), Kenya Medical Supplies Authority, Rwanda Medical Supply Ltd, and the
Presidential Initiative for Unlocking the Healthcare Value Chain (PVAC) with Empower's renowned
experts such as Paul Lalvani, Dr Karim to contribute their insights and experiences. Discussions
centered on capacity-building solutions, including:

💡 Centers of Excellence for Digital Learning
📲 Digital Health Innovations
Key highlights of the event included:

Exciting Partnership: Empower School of Health Collaborates with Coalition for Disaster
Resilient Infrastructure on DRI Lexicon
We are thrilled to announce the initiation of our new project in collaboration with the
Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), focused on the development of
self-paced eLearning modules on DRI Lexicon which provides a set of globally applicable
references to concepts and phrases that can provide a better understanding of the domain.
This partnership marks a significant step towards advancing sustainable and resilient
infrastructure development, which aligns closely with Empower School of Health’s commitment
to fostering knowledge, innovation, and capacity building in areas critical to global health
and sustainability.

Empower School of Health & Rwanda Medical Supply Ltd. Partner to Strengthen the
Global Health Supply Chain Workforce
Empower School of Health and Rwanda Medical Supply Ltd. are thrilled to announce
their partnership to strengthen the global health supply chain workforce. Together, we
will promote online courses, deliver workshops, and provide technical assistance to
build capacity and drive innovations. This collaboration will enhance RMS’s digital
learning platform, develop blended learning programs, and share best practices to
scale workforce talent. By fostering an enabling ecosystem, we aim to create impactful
opportunities through joint webinars, career initiatives, and consulting projects,
advancing health supply chain systems worldwide.

Empower School of Health & RAHPC Partner to Elevate Healthcare Workforce
Capacity & Excellence
Empower School of Health is proud to partner with the Rwanda Allied Health
Professions Council (Rahpc Council) to enhance the capacity of health
professionals. Through this collaboration, strategies to design, host, and
deliver accredited online courses and leadership programmes that meet global
standards, will be planned. Empower, together with RAHPC will conduct workshops,
evaluate training outcomes, and mobilize resources to strengthen health systems
and workforce capacity. This partnership represents a shared commitment to
advancing healthcare excellence in Rwanda and beyond.

Successful Implementation of Female-Focused STEP 2.0 Nigeria Workshop
The Strategic Training Executive Programme (STEP 2.0) Nigeria Workshop
was successfully conducted between 6th and 10th January 2025. The
workshop, conducted at Lagos Sheraton Hotel, was deployed to 29 female
directors, deputy directors and managers from National Products Supply
Chain Management Programme (NPSCMP) and the Department of Food and Drug
Services (DFDS), Federal Ministry of Health, Nigeria.
As they return to work, participants are currently working closely with a
cohort of 8 female coaches from Advantage Health Africa, Pfizer, Merck,
CHS Advisory and People that Deliver, to implement action plans to address
supply chain challenges in the country.

Empower School of Health, in Collaboration with Global Fund, PNAM,
and Sanru, Successfully Conducts 3-Day Training on Health Product
Supply Chain in Lubumbashi
With the collaboration of the Global Fund, PNAM and Sanru, Empower
School of Health conducted a 3-day training course in the premises
of CAMELU Asbl, made available by the Director of CAMELU, Dr.
Adelard Kazadi, in Lubumbashi, intended for future trainers (TOT) on
the supply chain of health products, from the Faculty of
Pharmaceutical Sciences of UNILU in Lubumbashi, DRC.
Structured into 9 modules, it helped lay the essential foundations
for effective management of the health product supply chain, a
crucial pillar for strengthening health systems in the DRC.
Thank you to all participants for their commitment, to the Faculty
of Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as to Dr. Franck BIAYI KANUMPEPA
from PNAM, for this great collaboration. Together, we are helping to
improve the supply chain and, by extension, access to healthcare in
the DRC.

Sciences - AIIMS, Rishikesh and the incredible Nursing & MBBS
students who participated in the SAKSHAM NMCN LMIS Quiz Event.
Your enthusiasm, energy, and competitive spirit made the event
truly unforgettable!
This engaging event served as a fantastic platform to raise
awareness about the Saksham LMIS and demonstrate its utility
and role in transforming medical education and learning.

Manu Saini from NRC, AIIMS New Delhi, along with Amal Santhosh
and Nikhil Ratra from Empower School of Health, for their
