Developing action plan for implementation of the recommendations of the project with time line and costing Providing technical assistance in implementation of strategies and recommendations along with the project team. Working towards developing consolidated prevention capacity building and technical assistance plan. Project management for multi-stakeholder projects involving coordination with government, private sector and other stakeholders. Ensuring timely preparation, collection, compilation, delivery of data, information and reports to be submitted from time to time. Provide relevant technical input and assistance to the project team. Preparation of concept notes, concept papers in HIV/AIDS and related program areas. Primary and secondary research, preparation of technical reports, abstracts and scientific papers. Lead project planning, research, implementation, budgeting, work plan development, monitoring, dissemination and advocacy Take lead in business development activities which includes finding new clients, new projects, writing proposals, meeting with prospective clients etc. The consultant may have to travel in India or/and abroad as part of the project. May perform all or some of the responsibilities above and other related duties as assigned.
Master’s degree in health sciences, public health, health/media communication, epidemiology, social/prevention sciences, behavioral change sciences, with at least 10 years’ experience in Public Health/HIV programs.
A common understanding of the TIs approach and strategies in the national AIDS response and their applications in India. At least four years of experience in data analysis and management applicable to prevention sciences. Ability to work independently on components of assignments, inclusive of but not limited to database management, SPSS software, MS Office packages etc. Language Requirements: Fluent in both English and Hindi.
